Return and Refund Policy

Please read this Return and Refund Policy carefully before completing your purchase. By placing an order with SarahCrafts, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth below.

  1. Overview

SarahCrafts operates as an online retail store selling anime-inspired accessories and lifestyle products, including our signature anime-inspired backpack collection. This policy governs all return, exchange, and refund requests submitted to SarahCrafts and applies to all purchases made through our website.

This policy is designed to comply with applicable United States federal and state consumer protection law, including but not limited to the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. § 45), the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and applicable state consumer protection statutes.

  1. Satisfaction Guarantee Window

SarahCrafts offers a 90-day limited satisfaction guarantee from the date of confirmed delivery. This guarantee is subject to all conditions, exclusions, and procedural requirements described in this policy. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and items that arrive materially different from their product description. It does not constitute an unconditional right of return.

  1. Eligibility Requirements for Returns

A return request will only be considered eligible if all of the following conditions are met at the time the item is received back at our facility:

The item must be unused and in its original, unaltered condition. The item must be in its original packaging, with all manufacturer seals, tags, labels, and protective materials intact and undisturbed. The item must show no signs of use, wear, washing, alteration, damage caused by the customer, or any form of manipulation. The return must be requested in writing via email to sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com within the 90-day guarantee window from the confirmed delivery date. A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation number) must be included with the return request. The item must be received back at our facility within 14 calendar days of the date on which we issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Failure to satisfy any single condition listed above will render the return ineligible, and the item will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense or held pending resolution at SarahCrafts' sole discretion.

  1. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, you must contact us by email at sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com with the subject line "Return Request – [Your Order Number]". Your email must include your full name, order number, date of purchase, confirmed delivery date, and a written description of the reason for the return request. You must also include clear photographic documentation of the item in its original, unopened condition, including all packaging, seals, and tags.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If your request is approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns shipped without a valid RMA number will not be accepted and will be refused upon delivery.

No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization from SarahCrafts.

  1. Return Shipping Costs

The customer is solely responsible for all costs associated with returning an item to SarahCrafts, including but not limited to outbound shipping fees, return shipping fees, packaging materials, customs duties if applicable, and any carrier insurance the customer elects to purchase.

SarahCrafts strongly recommends that customers use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance for the full value of the item. SarahCrafts assumes no liability for items lost, damaged, or delayed in return transit. Items that do not arrive at our facility are not eligible for a refund, regardless of proof of shipment.

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  1. Refund Process and Timeline

Upon receipt of a returned item, SarahCrafts will conduct a complete physical inspection to verify that all eligibility conditions described in Section 3 are met. This inspection process may take up to 7 business days from the date of receipt.

If the item passes inspection and is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. The refunded amount will reflect the original purchase price of the item only, minus any applicable restocking fees and excluding all original shipping charges.

If the item fails inspection — including but not limited to evidence of use, tampering, missing tags, damaged packaging, or broken seals — the return will be rejected. The customer will be notified by email and will have the option to have the item returned to them at their own shipping expense within 10 business days. If the customer does not respond or does not pay the return shipping cost within that window, SarahCrafts reserves the right to dispose of the item.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method only. SarahCrafts does not issue refunds via cash, check, gift card, or store credit unless required by applicable law.

  1. Non-Refundable Items and Exclusions

The following items and circumstances are explicitly excluded from eligibility for return or refund:

Items that have been opened, used, worn, washed, or altered in any way. Items with removed, damaged, or missing tags, labels, or seals. Items damaged due to customer misuse, negligence, improper care, or accident. Items purchased during a final sale, clearance, or promotional event where the sale was explicitly marked as non-refundable. Items for which a return request is submitted after the 90-day guarantee window from confirmed delivery. Items returned without a valid RMA number. Items that are lost or damaged in return transit. Digital products, downloadable content, or personalized/customized items. Shipping and handling charges on any order.

  1. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only prior to fulfillment processing. Once an order has been submitted and payment has been confirmed, it enters our fulfillment queue immediately. Because SarahCrafts processes orders promptly to meet estimated delivery timelines, the window to cancel an order is extremely limited and not guaranteed.

Once an order has been marked as fulfilled, shipped, or transferred to a logistics carrier, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances. The customer's sole remedy after shipment is to follow the return procedure described in this policy after delivery, subject to all applicable conditions and exclusions.

To attempt a pre-shipment cancellation, you must contact us immediately at sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request – [Your Order Number]". SarahCrafts will make a reasonable effort to accommodate the request if the order has not yet been fulfilled but does not guarantee cancellation.

  1. Shipping Delays and Delivery Timeframes

Our standard estimated delivery timeframe is 1–3 business days for order processing plus 9–13 business days for shipping, for an estimated total of 10–16 business days from the date of order confirmation to delivery. These are estimates based on typical carrier performance and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Shipping timelines may be affected by factors outside of SarahCrafts' control, including carrier delays, customs processing, weather events, natural disasters, public health emergencies, peak shipping seasons, and other force majeure circumstances. Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract by SarahCrafts and do not entitle the customer to a cancellation, refund, or any other remedy solely on the basis of a delayed delivery, provided that the order is ultimately delivered.

If an order has not been delivered within 30 business days of the confirmed shipment date and tracking information has not been updated for 15 or more business days, please contact us at sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com and we will investigate with the carrier.

  1. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged upon arrival, materially defective due to manufacturing error, or substantially different from the product description on our website, you must notify us within 5 business days of delivery at sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com. Your notification must include your order number, a written description of the issue, and clear photographic or video documentation of the defect or damage.

Failure to notify SarahCrafts within this window may waive your right to a remedy for that defect. Upon review and verification, SarahCrafts will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at its discretion, in accordance with applicable law.

Cosmetic variations, minor color differences due to screen display settings, and slight variations in texture or finish that do not affect the function or material quality of the product do not constitute defects.

  1. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

SarahCrafts encourages customers to contact us directly at sarahcraftscontact@gmail.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider. Many issues can be resolved faster through direct communication.

If a chargeback is filed without first attempting resolution through our return process, SarahCrafts reserves the right to contest the chargeback and submit all order documentation, delivery confirmation, and communication records to the relevant payment processor as evidence.

  1. Governing Law

This Return and Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable laws of the state in which SarahCrafts operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
